If there's one thing you would absolutely love while in Menorca, it’s a trip to one or many of its spectacular beaches! There are over 70 to choose from, and each has its own unique charms. The north of the island is rocky and the beaches are wilder, such as Cala Pregonda and Platja de Cavalleria, and the south part of the island has the most whimsical beaches, like Cala Macarelleta or Cala Turqueta. A true Mediterranean paradise!

There are more than 20 beaches on Kos Island with inviting, crystal blue waters, proving that seaside life is the dream. No matter where you stay in Kos, don't skip Kardamena beach, which we pronounce the most picturesque on the island with absolute confidence. Another beach worthy of your attention is Therma where any holiday maker can enjoy a natural spa experience in the warm volcanic pool.

The Most Visited Spots

Menorca

The historical capital and largest city of the island is Mahón. It has one of the largest harbours in the world, which lends a very tranquil atmosphere to the city, especially in the evenings. Although Mahón is the capital, Ciutadella is probably the most visited city in Menorca, and the key to enjoying this place without a rush is getting away from the crowds and getting lost in its cozy streets.

Fun fact: Mahón is the birthplace of mayonnaise. If you thought, that France has come up first with this, then you were myth-taken.

Kos

This island is mainly known as the birthplace of the father of medicine, Hippocrates. Probably the most famous spot in town is the Tree of Hippocrates, under which the physician used to sit and teach his students. The tree is obviously not the one that Hippocrates planted, but the Greeks believe that it used to grow in the very same place.

Drink and Food Experience

Menorca

Every visitor’s favourite place on the island is the natural cave with a breathtaking view of the sea. Oh, and by the way, there's a bar called Cova dén Xoroi that is built inside the cave above the sea. Locals say that the best cocktails (Pomada – a local gin mixed with lemonade) and the most colorful sunsets are served there. Sounds to us like this place is definitely worth a visit!

Kos

As it turns out, Kos is famous for growing watermelons, so during the summer season this fruit is the king on the island. In general, when it comes to food, this island may surprise you with some interesting flavors. If you are a true seafood lover, then the best place for your lunch or a romantic dinner would be Agkyra - Fish Restaurant in Kos, a place with the view.
